BACKGROUND

Hunter’s hockey journey began in his hometown of Wenatchee, Washington, where he progressed through the youth system and the 14U–18U development program. His path through those levels gives him a firsthand perspective on the growth and commitment involved in player development.

He went on to play junior hockey for the Wenatchee Wild during their time in the BCHL before continuing his career at the University of Arizona. Across four years of collegiate hockey, Hunter built on his playing background and enjoyed an experience that strengthened his connection to the game.

Now at AZ Hockey Academy, Hunter is excited to share that youth, junior, and collegiate perspective. He wants to help the next generation develop their skills, grow in confidence, and enjoy their own hockey journey.

THE STANDARD

For Hunter, development starts with a willingness to learn and the effort to keep improving. His experience across youth, junior, and collegiate hockey provides a perspective he can share as athletes work toward their own goals.

At AZ Hockey Academy, that standard means practicing fundamentals with purpose, building confidence through repetition, and connecting skill work to the game. Progress comes from consistent habits, attention to detail, and a positive approach to training.

The goal is for players to leave with a clearer understanding of their skills and enthusiasm to keep improving. Show up prepared, support your teammates, and bring an effort you can build on.
